Reading Today.

Reading today went well, i read a book called Swallowing Stones. Its about a boy getting a a new rifel gun for his birthday. So one day, he brought it over to his friends house to show it off. He pulled the trigger into the air and the bullet shot up and shot a guy who was fixing his roof. The man died instantly. The boy haven't found out until he once heard the radio talking about a random guy who died from a gun shot flying down from the sky. Now he gets suspecious and thinks its his fault, but isn't sure. Thats all i've read from the book so far.

Reading.

So over the semester i read the twilight books. I'm currently still reading Breaking Dawn. LOL. I keep getting distracted. I start reading then someone either Aims me or i want to go check my myspace -__- LOL. So i never get it done. Im so bad. i should like turn off my computer and hide it... until im done reading the book. I WISH! i don't think i can do it.. it would be too hard. lol But i will soon finish it ! :D

So i would like to improve my reading skills, for example continue reading the book as often as possible ! & get it done quicker. lol.Some books im interested in reading are books that include Teen Drama, and such. Something that would catch my attention quick.

Our Book talk went fairly well. It wasn't too hard. Well i didn't find it too hard. Even though they asked me questions their questions weren't really hard to answer. Doing our book talk in front of the whole class that's a different story... In a little group its better & easier. More comforting. (:

Romeo & Juliet; Shakespeare.

I think Shakespeare language is sometimes kind of hard to understand. But then, sometimes it does make sense. From what I've read of Romeo and Juliet so far it has been kind of interesting. Some parts are kinda confusing to understand what they're talking about, but besides that it's pretty good. My first impression of the book was that it might be boring. But then it kind of got interesting after a while. Well talking about it in class was interesting. About how they use to criticize each other back then.

O Brother, Where Art Thou?

The book The Alchemist has some similarities & differences from the movie O Brother, Where Art Thou? Like for example some similarities would be that, Santiago and Everett both went into a journey. The difference about it would be that Santiago went on the journey alone. Everett had his other friends by his side. Everett and his friends escaped from prison, they were hiding from the police and everything. Santiago was just a teenager, who was a shepherd. But they both had new people they met on the way, to help them. They both got advice from old wise people. For example Santiago had the old king. Everett and his friends met the blind guy on the rail road. They get advice on their journey.

Group Presentations; The Alchemist.

Some things i found interesting and learned about the group presentations are that, Pursuing your personal legend there's always a Narcissus. You should never believe what people tell you, Just keep them in mind, you should always question the advice they give you. When your finding your own personal legend, nature is always helpful. Like Coelho says, "When you want something, all the universe conspires to help you achieve it." Omens are always good signs to finding your personal legend.. but only if you know how to read them. Santiago learned from the king. When finding your personal legend, you'll know when is the right time. The principle of favorably will show you how to expect something. Going through and finding your personal legend always brings you a pathway to learning more things, & getting to meet new people like Santiago met Fatima the love of his life, & he learned to speak two more languages. Accomplishing something in life will always lead you to a challenge.

Date.

I finished it ! & it turned out to be really good. i would explain what happens, but from reading my comments from my last blog, it sounds like some of you guys are willing to read the books, So I'll let you guys find out yourselves ;) Hehe, i enjoyed reading them.. So i hope you will too. But i gotta say it is kinda girlyy lol. Now, i will continue reading Breaking Dawn<3

Some common things about the book with my life is that they go to prom& im hoping i will go to mine :] They go through boy problems and of course we all go through relationship problems, either with our parents, friends, or our significant others. I think the most important event in the whole book is going to Prom. Relationships are very important in the book too. During the weeks before prom came, all three girls had relationship problems. i think anyone could read the book. If you like Teen Drama books, then you should read it. But, the book is really predictable. I think i can compare with Nisha.. Because my family doesn't let me date either.

Alchemist.

What i learned about the Alchemist, is that to always follow your heart. Become friends with your heart. Also if you set a goal, you should always accomplish it, because you may regret it later on with life. How Santiago's, life was so adventurous, how he had his ups and down, & it all lead him to his personal legend & treasure. So things do happen for a reason. &if something keeps happening again, and again it must be a sign. The Alchemist book was very goood ! (:

How to plan my time.

I think time is very important, because if you waste it, you won't ever get it back. I try to plan my days, well Sometimes.. but they usually don't go right.. I try to do all the work i am asked to do when I'm in class, & when I'm done i will probably do something else. but i try to get my assignment done as quick as i can, so i have extra time to do whatever i want. Wasting time isn't a good thing when you have a, assignment to do. Some thing that i do when i waste time is probably messing around with friends. which i bad. When i do use time wisely, is when i really want a good grade on the assignment.

Eclipse !

it took a month?? im guessing HAHA. but i didnt read it everyday, so thats probably why. but anyway it was a great book. i liked it (: heheh Jacob is sooooo cute, sometimes i wish he was with Bella ! but he can't possibly have the same chemistry that Bella has with Edward. so its ohkay. Anway now im on BREAKINGGG DAWWWNNNNN ! (: hehe. im excited to read it. but at the same time not really. hahahaha. anways i just wanted to share the news.. hehehe

Dear Jeanine Le Ny..

I read your first book dream, and i found it was really interesting lol. the cover seems really girly because its pink, but reading it was good, it caught my attention ! (: Now i just finished reading Dress yesterday, which was also very good. Now im going to read Date. When i eventually find it. lol. i found that their friendship is awesome, even though they went through some bad times, they always had a way to work things out. I was just wondering though, why wasn't Nate upset with Jordan? Oh and does he like Tara now? anyway this book made me think about Prom.. like how its going to be when im a senior. i hope its not as dramaish as your books.

Dream:

Tara; It seemed as if their friendship was going strong but, somehow Tara was always annoyed of Jordan. Maybe because Jordon was the most popular girl in school, from being the head cheerleader, and was dating the most hottest guy too. But, it could also be all the hard work from being the head prom committee. So Tara always had the hardest time being around her friend who seemed to get everything. & i understand.. i also thought it was cute how she got a secret admirer, which was the schools mascot ! but its okay she gives him a make over and they say hes hot ! & has blue eyes ! & guys with blue eyes.... *speechless* LOL....

Nisha;I felt bad for Nisha because her parents won't let her date. Well niether does mine. But shes already a senior in high school going onto college! Shes ready ! So yeah she does have a boyfriend.. and shes hiding him & her lying to her boyfriend... ( Brian her boyfriend ) i think its a bad idea. So she told her parents about prom and about getting a date, so her parents randomly paired her up with someone. ( Raj is his name )

Jordan; is the head cheerleader and is dating the most hottest guy in school, but she seems really nice. But, her cheating on Nate ( the hot boyfriend ) is such a shame ! he seems like a nice guy.

Dress:

Jordan; So Jordan did kiss shane ( the new guy ) who is a punk rocker guy who is totally different to what jordan would normally date. ( he wears black nail polish! o.O ) i think is stupid. Nate seems like a much better guy for her. But whateverrrr. So Tara accidently blurted out that jordan was cheating on nate and nate heard about it and they broke up.. Which was good, but i still wish they were back together, & idk why.

Tara; Is now becoming great friends with Victor ( the secret admirer ) & she thinks she may like him more then just a friend.. When she heard about Jordan & nate's break up, she thought it was her fault so she tried to go talk to Nate. So they meet at the back courtyard at school, & she explains how she thought their relationship was perfect. But, Nates exaplins to her, that if Jordan wanted him back she would be begging for his forgiveness, but she wasn't, so he didnt want to fight for her. which i think, he's doing the right thing. So Nate gave her a peck on the cheek and sayed your a good friend, then left. & of course Jordan and Nisha saw everthing ! which was so predictable. So they got into a big fight and everything ! Jordan wanted payback!!! so she went to Victor and told him she saw Tara and Nate Lip locking in the courtyard.. She made it sound dramatic, so of course Victor got hurt & really mad !

Nisha; So Nisha and Raj went out and they boht told each other that they both already had boyfriend and girlfriends which was agains their religions but it was okay.. Brian found them too together and Nisha explained everything to him. & he got really mad that she was lying to him the whole time. Which i knew was about to come !

so now im waiting for date ! to find out whats going to happen ! (:

The Alchemist.

Santiago's journeys relates to me by the way he wanted to give up. But didn't, i remember always setting goals and always wanting to succeed, but sometimes wanted to give up on it. But i would try not to, even if it was very hard, i still have goals which aren't complete, but it takes time.. so I'll just be patient..

I thought it was sad how that guy stole Santiago's money. i mean it was partly his fault for letting the guy hold it. but still, he had nothing left with him.. only a pouch with the two stones Urim & Thummim inside. But the good thing was that he found a good job at the Crystal shop. He helped the owner get more customers and much more money. So he earned lots of money. Which was good ! (:

Dream.

I finished reading Dream. I just barely got it today from Ms. Crabtree too. lol. its pretty good. it has three parts to the book so im excited to read the second one. but Ericka has it so i'll wait. Anyway the story is about three girls who are bestfriends. Jordan, Tara, & Nisha. Jordon is the head cheerleader, dating the most hottest guy at school. (typical). Tara is the head prom committee and she has a girl named Jenny fighting with her against the prom theme. Oh and besides all that she has a secret admirer texting her.. Nisha's parents are very strict! they don't allow her to date. & when shes older. she has to marry an Indian guy. Who her parents have to pick. So it's pretty interesting. I liked it. but it was predictable. but it still catched my attention. Anyway Happy almost Valentines Day !

i should start reading Eclipse now.. LOL

Story of a Girl..

Well i finished the book. It was pretty interesting. It's about a thirteen year old girl who got caught with a guy in his car.. by her dad. Since that day her dad never talked to her the same way again. She was an Embarrassment to him. Wherever she went she was known as the slut. Who did it with a seventeen year old, Tommy who also was best friends with her brother... Now she's a Sophmore soon to be a Junior. She gets a job one day & suprisingly Tommy works there too. She ignored him. She wanted the money to help support her brother & sister-in-law, with their baby. I don't want to talk about the ending because i don't want to ruin it for anyone who wants to read it ! :D It came out to be a really good book. i finished it in about a day or two?

Now im reading Eclipse, well i'm trying to finish it. which is going to be kinda hard... because it's BIG! My cousin has been bugging me everyday.. because i have been taking very long to finish it. She has read Twilight & New Moon probably twice, just waiting on me to finish Eclipse. lol.

No More Finals :D

I didn't like this final week. it wasn't as easy as i thought..

anyway its pouring outside.. even though i can barely hear it.

i'm at my aunts house were going to have hot pot :)

im ready for it, haha. I'm Hungry :P

My reading update hasn't really changed from the last time.

But i saw this book in "Ms. Crabtree's Libary" which was titled

The Party Room. LOL i saw it while "Studying"with Karmen.. (:

i started reading it for a while then i got to 4th period.

& one of my friends saw me reading it, and she told me

the book was boring.

Which i noticed after i continued reading it.

So after my finals.. i returned the book The Party Room.

& she offered me this book to read. Its called Story of a Girl.

Ms Crabtree said it was a really good book.

It also has a award. So it should be good. I'll probably start reading it tmr.

Eclipse againnn. (:

So Last night i read Eclipse again. & I've read up to the middle of the book already.. I'm not sure what chapter though. Anyway, i left off the part where Edward came back & he was wasn't mad at Bella for the things she did. Jacob had a bonfire party and invited Bella to come along. Edward let her go . So she went. They had tons of food. & they told stories about their heritage & cold ones. Oh and when Bella came back from her sleep over with the girl Cullen's, Her room was organized as if someone was in her room, when she was gone. Edward & Jacob tracked the scent & was in the look out, so as the other Cullen's.

Reading this year made me feel good about myself, because i usually didn't read often. But, now i try to read as often as possible ! my aunt tells me that reading is very important. That i should read everyday. It helps with your grammar and punctuation. I should continue reading because i do want to get better at that. & because reading books that catch my interest, is fun :) hehe.

Eclipse !

I'm currently still reading Eclipse ! i read a little bit of it last Monday, after finishing my homework. Then, i read a little of it yesterday night. It's pretty interesting. Edward left to go hunting again but with all the boys. So it was only the girls at home. Edward had Alice keep Bella in hostage for the week. & for return he got Alice, a yellow Porshe. Bella ran off with Jacob one day during school hours. It came as a surprised for Bella, so that meant Alice wouldn't see it coming. So they went to La Push and hung out at the beach. After they went back to the house to eat..then into the garage. Bella and Jacob talked about her becoming a vampire and Jacob got furious. Bella got mad and decided to leave. She went back to the Cullen's and went to sleep early. & when she woke up in the middle of the night Edward was back. & surprisingly he wasn't mad at Bella.

Reading Eclipse. !

My thoughts of Eclipse.

Are good.. I thought the reaction Jacob had when he saw Bella was cute. Hehe. I love the friendship they have, even though he really likes her, But her love goes to Edward. :[ I love how Jacob takes care of Bella, But i really like the relationship Bella has with Edward. & Edward takes care of Bella too which is good. Its really hard to pick. I like both ! Their both really good guys to Bella. So i love bothh ! (: I think Eclipse is going very well. I enjoy reading it. (: Reading New Moon. Was cute but after reading Twilight it just makes you want to read the times Edward and Bella have together because its just so cute. But since New Moon was more about Jacob and Bella it wasn't as interesting as Twilight but i still love it. I think Jacob is so cute hehe. Anyway my thoughts about the twilight books are good. i enjoy reading them. :) <33

Dreams.

What I Think Dreams Really Are.

i think dreams show a sign to something that will happen later on with life.

Like a warning for you to watch out for. I think dreams do come true at times.

Not all dreams but most. My dreams are usually really random. Then the next day when i wake up.. i dont remember what it was about. But i like day dreaming.

Santiago's Dream.

I think Santiago's choice of following his dream was very wise, and risk taking. I mean i would only follow my dream if i thought it was the right thing to do, and if i have a strong feeling it may work then i would do it. But, if not then i probably won't. Dreams don't always come true, so it is a risk on taking chances.

I never knew a dream can access through secrets and hidden feelings. I always thought dreams were things you just think about, while sleeping. I never really thought that they can tell you something.

This can be very true. I learned that if i understood my dreams, i would understand my true self. i think dreams help me discover things that i didn't know about myself before.

My Readinggg!

Well Im currently still reading Eclipse.

Haven't had the time to read it.

I left off where Bella wanted to go over to La Push and talk to Jacob!

But Edward didn't want her too. So she left when he was hunting.

But once she got into her truck. She started the engine and it didnt start.

& Then she see's Edward sitting right next to her holding the engine box thingy.

LOL. yeah i forgot how to spell it.. Anyway She gets really mad at him ! and

goes upstairs to her room and closes the window where Edward comes in from everynight.

SO THATS WHERE I LEFT OFF! HOPEFULLY I'LL READ A LITTLE OF IT TONIGHT.

Twilight!

i finished Twilight! it's such a cute book.

my favorite part would be where;

Edward tells bella She's his life now.

its just too cute. hehe! i love their chemistry.

So for xmas i wanted the whole twilight saga.

All in hard cover. So my aunt said she would buy it for me.

& she did! so now i already finshed Twilight & New Moon.

Im starting Eclipse now. New Moon was okay.

Cutee but not as cute as the first one :)

the sad part is where Edward leaves her :(

Anyway.. i started d Eclipse and im still on the first chapter.

Haven't had the time to read it.

Maybe later on tonight i will :)
